Why wait multiple months to get a pair of boots designed and built by Master Bootmaker Francisco Mendoza? Francisco Mendoza is one of the El Paso bootmakers who still builds the old way, entirely by hand, and finding a signed pair on the secondary market is not something that happens often.

The vamp is genuine American alligator belly in a warm cognac — the softest, most supple section of the hide, cut in the wide rectangular tile pattern that only belly gives you. Matching alligator inlays are set into the saddle tan shafts in a flowing scroll, cut and fitted by hand around every curve.

The shafts are hand-stitched corded work, multiple rows of raised cording laid in fleur and scroll patterns across the full height. That is slow bench work — each row stitched and pulled by hand, not run through a machine. Cutter toe, leather sole, stacked leather heel. Fully leather lined.

Condition: Excellent, lightly worn and very well cared for. The alligator is supple and unmarked with no lifting, cracking, or dry spots. Inlays are tight, cording is crisp with no pulled stitches. Shafts are clean and straight. Soles show honest wear across the ball from light wear and remain fully sound — plenty of life left, and ready for a resole whenever the next owner wants one.
