  Cuadra builds some of the finest production exotics coming out of Mexico, and this pair shows why. The vamp is genuine teju lizard in a warm cognac brown, with that tight banded scale pattern teju is prized for, and the whole thing is covered in a dark chocolate leather filigree overlay — an intricate cross-and-scroll motif cut and laid over the lizard so the exotic shows through every opening.

  The shafts continue the theme in dark brown leather with tonal scroll embroidery and matching teju panels at the foot and collar. Cuadra's shield logo is set on both pull straps.

  Condition: Used, uppers in great shape. Teju is intact and supple with no lifting, cracking, or dry scales. The filigree overlay is complete and tight across both boots. Shafts are clean with honest break-in creasing and no seam separation. Soles show significant wear across the ball with the finish worn through, and the heel taps have been replaced — these were worn and enjoyed. Structurally sound and wearable now, and a fresh leather sole (roughly $150 at a good shop) would set them up for many more years.
